Coming to Green Bay in 1917, Esber Farah established his first store selling ice cream and candy. In 1926, after a series of moves, the store branched into fruits and groceries. In 1959 Esber’s son, Daniel opened a grocery store at the corner of Ninth Street and Military Avenue in Green Bay, WI. It was called St. Agnes Super Valu. Their motto, “Always Quality, Always Service”, helped the meat department to expand to the point where, in 1977, the company Meat Processors came to be.
The company is still owned and operated by the Farah family led by our president, Doug Farah and Vice President, Jim Farah and other members of the family working in other areas of the company.
Over the years we have earned an enviable reputation in the food service industry by offering only the finest quality of meat, poultry, and seafood available in Wisconsin.
